Cancellation & Refund Policy

This policy applies to custom software development, website development and design services supplied by The Eastern Cult. Read it together with your written project quotation and agreement before paying.

Requesting a cancellation

Send a cancellation request by email or WhatsApp with your name, project or invoice reference, payment date and reason. We review the project stage, work completed and any approved third-party expenses, and confirm the cancellation and financial reconciliation in writing.

Refund eligibility

Any refund is assessed against the agreed project terms, the amount paid, completed work and approved costs already incurred. Payment for completed, agreed work and approved non-recoverable third-party purchases may be deducted. Any remaining amount due back to you is confirmed in writing. No blanket refund percentage applies to every project.

Duplicate payments and delivery issues

Contact us if you believe you paid twice, paid an incorrect amount or did not receive an agreed deliverable. Include the transaction reference, but never send passwords, OTPs or full card details. We investigate the payment or delivery issue and confirm the correction, remedy or refund due.

Refund processing

Once a refund is agreed, we confirm the amount and expected processing date in writing. Refunds are returned through the original payment method wherever supported. The time for funds to appear depends on the payment provider and receiving bank. Contact us with your refund reference if it has not arrived by the communicated date.

Your rights

This policy does not exclude rights or remedies available under applicable law. Project-specific cancellation terms are communicated before payment.
